Virat Kohli played a brilliant inning of 186 runs in the fourth Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. At the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Virat scored a century in this format after 1205 days, 23 matches and 41 innings.
Wife and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma also praised Kohli after scoring a century. He also made a big disclosure about Kohli through a story on Instagram. He disclosed that Kohli is playing matches even in illness. Although Anushka has not told what disease he is suffering from.

Physio came on the field for Kohli
Kohli was seen taking support of physiotherapist many times during the match. Akshar Patel, who shared a 162-run partnership with him in 215 balls, also told after the match that Virat was struggling with some problem. Many times the physio team was checking him after coming to the field, yet he played a brilliant innings for the team.

Kohli’s second longest innings
This is Kohli’s second longest innings facing balls. Kohli played an inning of 186 runs in 364 balls. At the same time, his first longest Test innings was 211 runs in 366 balls, which he played against New Zealand in 2016.
Scored 28th century of Test career
Kohli last scored his 27th Test century against Bangladesh on 23 November 2019. This is his 28th Test century. Now Kohli has 75 international centuries in his name. He has scored 28 in Tests, 46 in ODIs and one century in T20 Internationals.
India scored 571 runs in the first innings
India scored 571/9 in their first innings on the basis of Virat’s marathon innings of 186 runs. Virat was the last batsman to be dismissed in the Indian innings. Injured Shreyas Iyer did not come out to bat.
By the end of the fourth day’s play, Australia scored 3 runs without loss in the first innings. Night watchman Matthew Kuhneman (0 *) along with opener Travis Head (3 *) returned to the unbeaten pavilion. The team is still trailing by 88 runs. Team India took a 91-run lead over Australia on the basis of the first innings.
