West Bengal Police Recruitment:The application process to fill 1251 (1126 male and 125 female) posts of wireless operators in West Bengal Police Telecommunication started on Monday 22 February. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the posts wbpolice.gov.in by visiting the official website.
Before finding out the eligibility criteria, method of selection, scheme of examination, procedure for submission of application form and other terms and conditions, the candidates have to read the notification carefully. The applicant should not be less than 18 years of age or more than 27 on 1 January 2021. There is a relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (Scheduled Castes) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) and 3.
Applicant must pass Higher Secondary Examination (10 + 2) conducted by West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) or equivalent examination from any recognized board in Science with Physics and Mathematics.
Apart from this, the applicant must be in good mental and physical health and it is necessary to speak, read and write in Bengali. However, the provision of language will not apply to those individuals. Who are permanent residents of the hill subdivisions of Darjeeling and Kalimpore districts.
