Weather Forecast Today: Air quality of the capital Delhi has reached ‘Hazardous’ i.e. ‘Dangerous’ category on Monday morning i.e. 22 February, 2021. Light fog was seen here. On Sunday the wind was in the ‘very bad’ category. The capital recorded 15 degree Celsius in the morning. The maximum temperature is estimated to be 28 degrees.
Recorded at AQI 325 at Anand Vihar in Delhi. In Shahdara, Jahangirpuri, Ashok Vihar, Rohini and some other places, the quality of air was in dangerous category. The level of AQI in Ghaziabad of Uttar Pradesh reached the level of 412, which falls in the dangerous category. AQI levels were seen in dangerous category in some other places of Ghaziabad including Vasundhara. In Noida the air was in the ‘bad’ category.
There is a possibility of rain and snowfall in many places in the country today and the next day or two. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, heavy snowfall may occur in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan and Muzaffarabad on 22 February. Thunderstorms may also rain here in the next five days. It is also expected to rain in Uttarakhand on February 23-24.
Due to the Western Disturbance, there is a possibility of rain and snowfall from 26 February. It will rain with thunder on 26-28 February. This activity will remain at peak on 27-28 February.
The weather in Puducherry has been going bad since the last days. Due to continuous rains on Sunday, there is a situation of water logging in many areas. Schools are closed here on Monday.
