new Delhi. Vivo will launch its flagship smartphone lineup Vivo X50 Series in India on 16 July. The company has confirmed the launch date after doing product tees on the website and social media. Two smartphones in the series X50 and X50 Pro will be launched. It will be available for sale on Flipkart and Amazon. According to reports, the X50 Pro + smartphone of the series will be sold exclusively in China only.

Xiaomi, Reality and OnePlus will get the challenge
Vivo is one of the fastest growing smartphone brands in the country. It is especially popular for budget and mid-range phones. However, now Vivo does not want to limit itself to this price segment. After the launch of flagship devices of Xiaomi, OnePlus, Oppo and Realme, Vivo also wants to enter this space, where consumers are looking for new options. Vivo X50 Series in China has been launched in China last month.

Vivo X50 Series: Expected Price and Features in India
In China, the price of Vivo X50 starts at RMB 3498 (about Rs 37,600) and it is expected that it will be launched in India in the price segment of Rs 35,000 to Rs 40,000.
The smartphone is equipped with a 6.56-inch full HD + AMOLED display. This display supports resolution of 2376×1080 pixels and 90Hz refresh rate. It is likely that Vivo X50 will be the first smartphone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor in India. It is available with 8GB of RAM and two storage options of 128GB or 256GB.

The Vivo X50 of photography has a quad rear camera setup as well as is equipped with a 32-megapixel punch-hole selfie camera. The back panel has a 48-megapixel main camera with f / 1.6 aperture and OIS. Also a 13-megapixel telephoto lens, which supports 2x optical zoom. The third is an 8-megapixel ultra wide lens while the fourth is a 5-megapixel macro sensor.
The phone includes an in-display fingerprint sensor with 33W fast charging, 4200mAh battery. Available in Black, Blue and Pink color options in China, this smartphone runs on Android 10 based on Funtouch OS 10.

Vivo X50 Pro variant: specifications and features
The Vivo X50 Pro is the premium version, which will get a 6.56-inch AMOLED display but has curved edges on either side. It is also equipped with Snapdragon 765G chipset which will come with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB storage. Its price starts at RMB 4298 (about Rs 46,200) and in India it is expected to be priced between Rs 45,000 to Rs 50,000. It has a large 4315mAh battery, but also uses a 33W fast charger only. The Pro variant differs from the standard variant in terms of camera setup.

It has a 48-megapixel main camera, but the company claims that it will get Gimbal OIS support. It also has an 8-megapixel periscope lens, which supports 5x optical zoom for OIS. Apart from this, it also has a 13-megapixel portrait sensor with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. The Vivo X50 has a 32-megapixel sensor for selfie and video calling. The Vivo X50 Pro also has an in-display fingerprint sensor and it runs the Funtouch OS 10 based on Android 10.
