In a shocking video going viral on the internet, two tiger cubs were attacked by villagers in Seoni in Madhya Pradesh’s Seoni. The incident took place in Belgaon village and many IFS officers as well as celebs have condemned this barbaric act. A video shared on Twitter by the WildLense Eco Foundation shows two tiger cubs trying to save themselves from stones being thrown at them. In the video you can see that a cub tries to sit in a corner to hide.

An update about the status of the cubs was shared by a Twitter user Adil, who is a nature and wildlife conservation activist. The tweet read, “After a 1 hour struggle, two tiger cubs of about 6 months of age were rescued safely by the rescue team of Pench Tiger Reserve after reaching the informed spot, controlling the crowd gathered there. After a health check-up by a wildlife doctor, the cubs have been sent to Kanha Tiger Reserve. ,
This morning, two cubs were seen near the pond by the villagers of Belgaon village in Seoni district while going to collect tendu leaves and information was given to Forest Development Corporation, Barghat Project Seoni, after that the corporation gave its information to Pench Tiger Reserve. 1/2 #tigerrescue#tigerpic.twitter.com/IFrZfxtlUu
