The trailer of Bollywood actor Vineet Kumar’s much awaited film ‘Aadhaar’ has been released. The film, based on a social intoxication, is set to release in Theaters on 5 February. Aadhaar Jamua is based on the story of the first person from Jharkhand (essayed by Vineet) to receive his Aadhaar number and is directed by the award-winning filmmaker Suman Ghosh of the Bengali film ‘Podokkhep’. Set in rural India, the film traces the introduction of the Aadhaar card in India and the journey of the first person to whom it was applied.

The trailer of the film ‘Aadhaar’ appears with the villagers on the rumor that Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is visiting his village. Their hopes are shattered when it is learned that some government officials have come to introduce the Aadhaar card. In this way, the story of the villagers is trying to understand how India became India with the technology and implementation of Aadhaar Card. It is here that we meet Farsua (a character played by Vineet), a resident of Jamua village, who becomes the first person to get an identity card.

However, Farsua does not lose hope and sets out on a journey to get the Aadhaar number and everything he does is the final details. Veteran actors Raghubir Yadav, Saurabh Shukla and Sanjay Mishra will also be seen playing important roles in this addiction. The film premiered at the 24th edition of the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) in October 2019, followed by its screening at the MAMI Mumbai Film Festival in the same year.
