Nationalist Congress MP Supriya Sule performed Garba and Dandiya at a Navratri event in Indapur, Maharashtra today. The video of Sule’s dance in the event is becoming increasingly viral on social media. In the video, Baramati MP Loveyatri is seen dancing with other women on ‘Chogada’ of the film. Hundreds of women participated in this program held at Lakhewadi in Indapur. During this, many women also took selfies with Supriya Sule, daughter of NCP chief Sharad Pawar.
Significantly, the festival of Navratri started from Monday. During this, devotees worship nine forms of Goddess Durga and seek blessings for the well being of their families. Garba and Dandiya are popular dances performed during Navratri in Gujarat and other parts of India.
Earlier on Wednesday, industrialist Anand Mahindra shared one such video from Mumbai’s iconic Marine Drive. A video tweeted by Mahindra shows an enthusiastic crowd performing garba and dandiya as the audience cheers.
