The government of Uttar Pradesh will establish new government and private colleges in the state to promote education. According to the report, the government will open 51 new government colleges and 28 private colleges across the state. Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma said that 120 colleges have started construction of e-learning park. According to the report, the Uttar Pradesh government has given Rs 15 lakh as grant for big projects and Rs 5 lakh for small projects.

Earlier on December 14, the state government said that it was planning to have a medical college in each of the 75 districts of the state.
Addressing an investment and tourism program organized under the banner of Uttar Pradesh Association of North America (UPANA), Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath assured that “every facility” will be provided to those planning to invest in the development of the state.
