Uttar Pradesh News: The involvement of a party worker is visible in the murder of a BJP leader in Firozabad, UP. Police have detained Veeresh Tomar, a BJP-bound man, and his two uncles for the murder of BJP Mandal President Dayashankar Gupta.
Dayashankar was shot by three bike-riding miscreants on Friday night when he was about to close his shop and go home. Dayashankar has a hardware shop in Naglabich town of Firozabad. After being shot, Dayashankar was taken to a private hospital in critical condition, where doctors declared him dead.
Family members expressed suspicion on Veeresh Tomar
Dayashankar’s family had expressed suspicion of killing Veeresh Tomar. Viresh is a resident of Ratigarhi village of Dayashankar. The political rivalry of the village runs in the family of Veeresh and Dayashankar. Veeresh was earlier in some other party but recently he joined BJP. According to local people, Dayashankar was uncomfortable with his joining BJP.

Agra Zone IG Satish Ganesh told NewsBust that in 2015 Dayashankar and Viresh’s uncle Narendra Tomar contested the election of Pradhan in Ratigarhi village. This election was defeated by Dayashankar and Narendra Tomar won. There was also a tussle between the two people. Recently, Veeresh and Dayashankar also became hot on Facebook. At present, the police are questioning the custody of Viresh Tomar’s two uncles, Narendra Tomar and Devendra Tomar.
