Udaipur :

A Hindu family hastily put out a fire in a Tajiya during a Muharram procession in Udaipur city of Rajasthan. The area where this incident took place is near the shop of Taylor Kanhaiya Lal. Kanhaiya was brutally murdered by two Muslim youths about a month and a half ago by slitting his throat. Due to this, a situation of anger and tension was created in the entire country including Rajasthan. According to the information, the fire broke out in the upper part of Tajiya, about 25 feet high, while passing through the narrow streets of Mochiwada area. The Muslims walking behind the Tajiya did not notice it, but the attention of the local people watching the procession from the second-third floor of their house got its attention. As soon as the Hindu families living on the third-fourth floor of the street saw the fire, they extinguished the fire by pouring water from above. Police said, Ashish Chauwadia, Rajkumar Solanki and their families doused the fire by pouring water from the balcony and terrace. District Collector Tarachand Meena said, “It not only averted an accident but also became an example of communal harmony.”
