A video shot by locals in Morena showed the wreckage of the plane lying on the ground. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan tweeted, “News of IAF’s Sukhoi-30 and Mirage-2000 aircraft crashing near Kolaras in Morena. Very sad. I have instructed the local administration to cooperate with the Air Force in quick rescue and relief work. I pray to God that the pilots of the planes are safe.

Defense Minister is closely monitoring
Defense Ministry sources say that Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has been informed about the matter by the Chief of the Air Force on the crash of two Indian Air Force aircraft. The Defense Minister inquired about the efficiency of the pilots of the Indian Air Force and is closely monitoring the developments. He talked to the collector. So far 2 out of 3 pilots have been traced. Both the pilots are injured and are being sent to the hospital.
