At Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI), the Customs Dept has arrested two Afghan-originated citizens. He was in the interest of moving from Delhi to Kabul on 15 October. At the same time, during checking at the airport, medicines worth Rs 1 crore 13 lakh were found in their 8 bags, which were being illegally transported from India. After which both were questioned.
Both the accused were told during interrogation that even before that they had taken medicines and clothes worth Rs 19 lakh to Afghanistan in this way. Investigating officers are tracing the network of the accused.
