In the last 24 hours, the number of active corona cases in India has increased by 4421. This increase is 3 percent and due to this the number of active corona patients has crossed 1.5 lakhs in the last 17 days in India. According to the data released on Monday morning, this is the biggest jump in the number of active patients after the end of November. This is the 5th consecutive day when the number of active patients has increased.
The number of active patients is revealed in 24 hours by the difference between new cases of corona and the figures of healthy people. In these five days, 13,506 active patients have increased. Last week, the rate of increase of active patients was 1.5 percent, which has now doubled. The number of new patients getting daily is also increasing. It had come down from 9121 i.e. ten thousand on 16 February, but on 22 February this number reached 14,199.
If we talk about the growth rate of the last one week, then the average is 13.8 percent. This effect has been seen in Maharashtra, Kerala, Punjab, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh due to the sharp increase in new cases of corona. The Center has warned these five states to fully comply with the rules related to Kovid-19, because Necessary to break the chain of virus infection.
The biggest concern is that 74 percent of active cases are in Kerala and Maharashtra. New cases are also increasing daily in Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir. In the worst affected Maharashtra, the average number of new cases for a week was 5230, which is the highest after 5576 patients received on 2 December. On 22 February, Maharashtra received 6971 cases, which is the highest after 7347 cases received on 24 October. In the second most affected Kerala, the average of new cases in the last one week is 4361. While on February 22, 4070 patients were found.
