UdanSikh Milkha Singh, who lost his life from Corona, died on June 18 at Chandigarh PGI during treatment after a corona infection. Five days before the death of Milkha Singh, his wife Nirmal Milkha Singh also died due to corona infection.

Referring to Tokyo Olympics, Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his address today said that when we are talking about Olympics, how can we forget Milkha Singh. A few days ago, Corona took them away from us. Recalling the old days, the Prime Minister said that when Milkha Singh had come to Surat during the marathon held in Surat in the year 2014, even at that time talks were held with him about sports.
