According to a memo sent to employees by Amazon CEO Andy Jassy, ​​most of the job cuts at the company will be in departments such as AWS (Amazon Web Services), People Experience and Technology (PXT), Advertising and Twitch.

18 thousand employees were laid off in January
Amazon’s decision comes just two months after the company announced the layoff of 18,000 employees in the first round. After this, Jesse had said in January that 18,000 employees would be laid off. Most of the layoffs will be from Amazon stores and PXT departments.
