Ranaghat (West Bengal):
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said on Monday that the country is moving towards a food crisis due to the ‘obstinate’ attitude of the BJP in relation to the ongoing farmers’ movement demanding the withdrawal of three new agricultural laws. Mamta said that by joining the ‘useless’ leaders of other political parties, the BJP is becoming a ‘junk’ party.
He said, “The country is moving towards food crisis. If the BJP is adamant on agricultural laws then there will be a shortage of food grains in our country. Farmers are the capital of our country and we should not do anything which is against their interests. ”The Trinamool Congress president also demanded immediate withdrawal of all three agricultural laws. This is the demand of the farmers who are protesting on the borders of Delhi.
Addressing a rally at Ranaghat in Nadia district, he said, “BJP is the largest junk party in the country.” This is a garbage party which is filling itself with corrupt and useless leaders of other parties.
Mamta Banerjee said, “You must have seen some (Trinamool) leaders going to BJP.” He did this to save the money of the looted people. The BJP runs the party like a washing machine, where corrupt leaders become saints as soon as they join. “He compared BJP workers and supporters of US President Donald Trump, who recently carried out violence in the US Parliament House Capitol Hill Said, “The day the BJP loses the elections, its workers and supporters will also behave in a similar manner.”
