Till now incidents of fire in electric scooter were coming to the fore, now a new incident has come to light of Tata Nexon EV car catching fire. Its video is also going viral on social media, in which the fire brigade team is seen putting out the fire of the car. This incident of fire in Nexon EV is from Vasai area of Mumbai.
According to reports, the car owner had put it on charging with a regular slow charger in his office, after that when he left with it, he started getting alerts in the car’s instrument cluster along with a strange sound in the car. Seeing this, he put the car on the side and came out. Shortly after that the car caught fire.

The Nexon EV has a range of 312 km on a full charge
Talking about Tata Nexon EV, it is the best selling electric car in India. The electric car gets a 30.2kWh lithium-ion battery pack along with an electric motor. Its motor generates 129Bhp power and 245Nm peak torque. It has the option of automatic transmission. On a full charge, this car gives a range of 312 km.
Gets charged in 60 minutes
This electric car can be charged from 0 to 80% in just 60 minutes using a DC fast charger. With a regular charger, it can charge from 20 to 100% in 8 hours. Tata Motors also recently launched the Nexon EV Max in India which gets a bigger battery pack, develops more power and torque, and is claimed to deliver a range of 437 km on a single charge.
