The ‘Most Noble Numbers’ charity auction event took place in Jumeirah City, Dubai. In this the VIP number is auctioned.

In Dubai, the number of a car has been auctioned for 5.5 crore dirham i.e. 122 crore 60 lakh rupees. This number is P 7 i.e. only one alphabet and one numeric digit. It has been included in the Guinness World Records. However, the identity of its buyer has not been disclosed.

This charity auction called ‘Most Noble Numbers’ is held here every year. In this, funds are raised to remove hunger around the world. Its founder is UAE Prime Minister and Vice President Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

Earlier there was a record of P 1
Earlier in 2008, the P1 was bought for 52.22 million dirhams (Rs 116 crores), which was bought by a local Dubai businessman, Sayeed Abdul Ghaffar Khoury. The event was organized by Dubai’s Road and Transport Authority and telecommunications companies.

Bid reached 15 to 30 million dirhams in a few seconds
Bidding started at AED 15 million at the P 9 auction. Within seconds, the bid reached 30 million dirhams and then 35 million dirhams. This bid was made by Pavel Durov, owner of Telegram app and French businessman living in UAE. After that it was finalized at 55 million dirhams.

This unique number also sold
Several other numbers and phone numbers were also auctioned at the event. These include special two-digit numbers such as AA19, AA22, AA80, O71, X36, W78, H31, Z37, J57, N41, Y900, Q22222, and Y6666. Plate AA19 was bought for AED 4.9 million, while O 71 was bought for AED 15 million and Q22222 was sold for AED 9.75 million.

People will be fed with the amount received from the event
According to media reports, about 100 million dirhams were raised from the auction, which will be used to provide food for the people during Ramadan. Whereas, the platinum mobile number (971583333333) of DU company was sold for around Rs 4.46 crore.

The purpose of the ‘Most Noble Numbers’ event
In fact, UAE Prime Minister and Vice President Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has launched a campaign to create the world’s largest Ramadan Food Sustainable Endowment Fund. The name of this campaign is ‘One Billion Meal Endowment’. The target of this campaign is to support the ongoing efforts to combat hunger in the world. Under this, this event is organized.
