Some players of Team India, including Indian all-rounder Deepak Chahar, lost their luggage while traveling from New Zealand to Bangladesh. Chahar blamed Malaysian Airlines for this. He has expressed his anger on social media tagging Malaysian Airlines. Chahar also alleged that he and his teammates were not served proper food on the flight during the journey. Following Chahar’s social media post, Malaysian Airlines has apologized for the inconvenience caused.
In fact, Team India has to play a three-match ODI series against Bangladesh at home from Sunday. The members of the ODI squad left for Bangladesh directly after playing the ODI series against New Zealand.
Chahar along with other Team India players Mohammad Siraj, Shardul Thakur, Shikhar Dhawan, Shubman Gill and Washington Sundar reached Dhaka by Malaysian Airlines via Kuala Lumpur. While Umran Malik and Suryakumar Yadav came to India. On the other hand, Mohammed Shami is out of the team due to injury. In his place, Umran Malik has been included in the team for the ODI series. He will soon join the team.
Team India participated in the practice session on Saturday.
Bad travel experience in Malaysian Airlines
Chahar posted on social media before the practice session on Saturday and informed about the inconvenience caused during the journey. He wrote that the experience of traveling in Malaysian Airlines was very bad. The match is to be played on Sunday, it has been 24 hours. Till now the belongings of me and some of my colleagues have not been found.
First they changed the flight without my knowledge and later they didn’t even provide proper food in business class. Malaysian Airlines sent a complaint form on social media, but that too has not been opened. Whereas Malaysian Airlines has apologized for the inconvenience caused to the cricketers.
