Infosys President Mohit Joshi has resigned. Mohit will now be the Managing Director and CEO of Tech Mahindra. Mohit Joshi will work in Infosys till June. Mohit Joshi was working in Infosys for the last 22 years. He joined Infosys in the year 2000.
Infosys has informed that Mohit will be on leave from March 11, 2023 and his last day with the company will be June 09, 2023. According to the official website of Infosys, Mohit was responsible for the company’s software, financial services, health care, life science business.
He will take over the reins of Tech Mahindra on December 20.
Mohit Joshi will be made director on the board of directors of the company with effect from December 20, 2023. Mohit Joshi will take over as MD of the company from 19 December 2028. Mohit has worked in ABN Ambro, ANZ Grindlays company before Infosys.
MBA from Delhi University
Mohit Joshi has done his MBA from Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi. Earlier, he had graduated in History from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi. Mohit was also associated with the Young Global Leaders Program of the World Economic Forum Davos in the year 2014. Apart from this, he is also a member of the Young President’s Organization.
Recently Ravi Kumar also resigned from Infosys
Earlier recently, former Infosys President Ravi Kumar also resigned. He became the CEO of IT company Cognizant. Ravi Kumar served Infosys as the company’s President and COO for 20 years.
Profits of both the companies increased in the October-December quarter
Tech Mahindra Company’s profit and income both increased in the October-December quarter. The company’s profit increased from Rs 1,290 crore to Rs 1,300 crore in the October-December quarter of the year 2022 as compared to the July-September quarter of the year 2022. During this period the company’s income increased from Rs 13,130 crore to Rs 13,730 crore.
At the same time, the profit of Infosys has also increased in the last quarter. Net profit increased by 13.4% to Rs 6,586 crore during the October-December 2022 period. At the same time, it was Rs 5,809 crore in the year-ago quarter. At the same time, the net profit in the July-September quarter was Rs 6021 crore. On an annual basis, Infosys’ revenue grew by 20% to Rs 38,318 crore from Rs 31,867 crore. At the same time, increased by 5% from ₹ 36538 crore in the September quarter.
