Tunisia beat France 1-0 in their Group E match at the FIFA World Cup on Wednesday. The only goal of the match was scored by the captain of the team, Wahbi Khajri. However, the team was eliminated from the tournament despite a win over the defending champions. She could not confirm her place for the next round. In Group E itself, Australia qualified by defeating Denmark. Australia qualified with more points than Tunisia. France had already advanced to the next round.
France’s top players were rested against Tunisia. Star striker Mbappe, including captain Hugo Lloris, did not even start. Embappé came in the 65th minute.
In the last minute of the match, French player Antoine Griezmann equalized the score line by scoring a goal, but his goal did not count due to offside.
Tunisia took the lead in the second half

Even team captain and goalkeeper Hugo Lloris did not play today. Because of this, Tunisia dominated the match in the first half.
