special way of celebrating
Jatinder does exactly the same way as Shikhar Dhawan celebrates a thigh thump when he takes a catch or achieves a milestone. In the match against PNG, he celebrated in the same style after taking a first catch and then scoring a half-century.
Jamai’s career’s fourth half century
In this match, Jatinder scored the fourth half century of his T20 International career. He faced 42 balls in his innings and hit 7 fours and 4 sixes. He now has 770 runs in 29 matches in T20 Internationals.
Dhawan is not part of Team India
Shikhar Dhawan’s fan may be playing in this tournament but, Dhawan himself is not a part of the Indian team in the World Cup. Captain Virat Kohli himself has expressed his desire to open with Rohit Sharma. Apart from him, KL Rahul is also included in the team as the third opener.
