In fact, the Karnataka High Court had granted bail to Kingpin Shivkumariah in the question paper leak case. While the co-accused in the case, Obalaraju was acquitted. The Supreme Court issued notice to Shivakumaraiya and stayed the High Court order to free Obalaraju from the case. CJI Bobde said that we want to give a message. These people are ruining the education system. We are going through cases where the education system has been distorted and malformed. He said that we know what happened in the case of Vyapam in Madhya Pradesh.
