The employees of the three municipal corporations of Delhi will take out a protest march on Friday from the civic center to the house of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. They demand that their outstanding salaries be released. MCD Employees Union convenor AP Khan said that the protesting members have also decided to “boycott” the duty imposed for vaccination of Kovid-19. Vaccination will start from January 16 in the entire country including Delhi. Khan said that the salaries of many employees have not been paid for the past several months, including those who have recently retired.


He said, “They ask us to go on covid duty. We have decided to boycott the duty imposed for vaccination.” Khan said that the strike workers will march from the civic center headquarters of North Delhi and South Delhi Municipal Corporations to the Chief Minister’s residence on Friday morning. North Delhi Mayor Jayaprakash said, “I have assured them that the corporation is trying to release their outstanding salaries but it is not right to boycott the immunization duty. According to the DDMA Act, if they refuse the duty Then action will be taken. ”
