Stock Market Closing: Reliance Industries gained the most 3.11 percent in the Sensex shares today.

Stock Market Closing: The domestic stock markets returned on Tuesday and the BSE Sensex climbed over 445 points. Strong trend in global markets and buying in Reliance Industries and bank stocks, which have a good share in major indices, led to gains in the market. At the end of today’s trading, the 30-share BSE Sensex closed at 58,074.68 points with a gain of 445.73 points, or 0.77 percent. At one stage during today’s trading, it had climbed up to 504.38 points. At the same time, the National Stock Exchange’s Nifty also closed at 17,107.50 points with a gain of 119.10 points, or 0.70 percent.

Reliance Industries gained the most 3.11 percent in Sensex stocks. Apart from this, Bajaj Finance, Titan, Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, Bajaj Finserv, IndusInd Bank, UltraTech Cement, Larsen & Toubro, HDFC Bank, HDFC and Kotak Mahindra Bank were major gainers. On the other hand, Power Grid, Hindustan Unilever, Tech Mahindra, Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys and Asian Paints were among the losers.

South Korea’s Cospi, Hong Kong’s Hangseng and China’s Shanghai Composite remained profitable in other markets of Asia. There was a boom in the major markets of Europe in the afternoon. US markets were in the lead on Monday. Meanwhile, global oil benchmark Brent crude climbed 0.65 per cent to USD 74.27 per barrel.

According to the exchange data, foreign portfolio investors remained sold in the stock market on Monday. During this, he has sold shares worth Rs 2,545.87 crore.
