The Perth Scorchers pacer conceded 31 runs in his last over during his team’s BBL match against the Melbourne Renegades at the Perth Stadium. While 30 runs came off Finch’s bat in a seven-ball over, one run came through a no-ball. Tye also bowled the third most expensive spell (4/63) in the Big Bash League due to this over.

Finch’s unbeaten 76 off 35 balls went in vain as Melbourne Renegades fell 10 runs short of Perth Scorchers’ total in 20 overs. Where Scorchers scored 212 runs in the first innings. Wherein Renegades could score only 202 runs.

In the first innings, Cameron Bancroft’s 95 not out off 50 balls and Steve Esquinazi’s 54 off 29 balls took the Scorchers to a challenging 212 for 5.
