Staff Selection Commission’s SSC CGL (SSC CGL) 2022 exam admit card has been issued. SSC CGL exam is going to start tomorrow from 1st December. Through this, more than 20 thousand posts will be recruited. There are more than 30 lakh applications for SSC CGL exam.
This time many major changes have been made in SSC CGL exam. The biggest change is that the CGL will be in 2 tier instead of 4 tier. The posts of Postal Assistant and Shorting Assistant will also be filled from CGL only. Till now both these posts were filled through CHSL.
What are the changes?
- SSC CGL exam will now be in two tiers instead of four.
- Merit list will be made on the basis of Tier-2 exam. Till now the merit was prepared by adding the marks of all the three tiers.
- The pattern of Tier-2 exam has completely changed.
- The marking pattern of CGL exam has also changed.
- Now there will be no descriptive paper in CGL.
- Two posts of CHSL have been subsumed in CGL.

There will be 100 questions in CGL Tier-I Exam. Each question will be of 2 marks. Thus the paper will be of 200 marks. There will also be negative marking in the exam. 0.5 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
