The second Test is being played between South Africa and West Indies in Johannesburg. By the end of the second day’s play on Saturday, South Africa have scored 287 runs losing 7 wickets in the second innings. Also captain Temba Bavuma scored a century after 7 years. He had to wait for 88 innings to score a century. Only New Zealand’s Adam Parore (92 innings) had to wait longer than Bavuma to score his second century after his first Test ton.
South Africa lost 7 wickets on the third day
At the end of the third day, South Africa have a 356-run lead against the West Indies. Bavuma is unbeaten on 171. At this point Bavuma came out to bat early in the day. When Kyle Mayers caught Dean Elgar in the gully and then dismissed Tony de Jorji. The team’s 2 wickets had fallen.
