Gujarat Giants captain Beth Mooney has been ruled out of WPL. Sneh Rana is captaining the team in his place.
The franchise has appointed Australian all-rounder Ashley Gardner as the new vice-captain in place of Sneh Rana. Also, Laura Wolvaardt has been included in the team in place of Mooney. The franchise gave this information in a media release on Thursday.

Mooney retired hurt after getting injured while batting in the first match. He twisted his knee in an attempt to take one. After that the command of the team was in the hands of vice-captain Sneh Rana.
