Young opener Shubman Gill scored an unbeaten 126 in the last match of the T20 series played between New Zealand and India in Ahmedabad. In this match, Team India defeated New Zealand by 168 runs and also won the 3-match series 2-1. Gill was declared man of the match for his brilliant innings. After the match, Gill said in an interview to BCCI TV that he did not do anything different during his innings, just played his natural game. BCCI has shared its video.
Gill said that he does not feel tired while playing for the country. When you practice and it pays off, it feels good.
He said, ‘I am very happy to play a good innings for the team. Everyone has their own technique to hit sixes. Hardik bhai told me to play my natural game and I don’t need to do anything extra. I did the same.

Became India’s youngest centurion in T20
Gill has now become India’s youngest centurion in T20 format. He has broken the record of Suresh Raina. Raina scored century in 23 years 156 days. While Gill has achieved this feat in 23 years 146 days.
