CM Shivraj Singh and Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia released the tigers in Madhav National Park
On the occasion of the 78th birth anniversary of former Union Minister Madhavrao Scindia, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia on Friday released two tigers in the enclosures built in the Balarpur range of Madhav National Park. For this occasion which came after 27 years, a female tigress from Bandhavgarh and a male tiger from Satpura Tiger Reserve were brought here. On this occasion, Jyotiraditya Scindia said that along with tourism, employment opportunities will also be created in the area with the roar of the tiger. CM Shivraj Chouhan said that the cheetah-tiger has returned in this area. He said in English – Tiger is back, then a voice came from behind – Tiger is still alive. Significantly, from 1956 to 1998, there were tigers in Madhav National Park. Tiger Safari was also created but due to some reasons Tiger died one after the other and Tiger Safari also lost its existence.

The Chief Minister said that the female tiger from Bandhavgarh National Park and the male tiger from Satpura National Park have been brought to Shivpuri. Three more tigers will be brought soon. Talking to ‘tiger friends’, the CM said, “We have to make people aware for the protection of tigers and wildlife and tell them that wildlife is our friend and we have to protect them.” Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said that after 27 years, tourists in Madhav National Park will now get an opportunity to hear the roar of tigers as well as see them. In the second phase, 3 more tigers will be brought. He said that with the arrival of tigers, where the environment will be balanced, employment opportunities will be created in different areas at the local level. This will also increase the economic prosperity of the area.
