Stock market closed with a boom

There was a bullish atmosphere in the stock market on Monday. The Sensex opened at 60007 and closed at 60224, up 415 points in the evening. Sensex touched a low of 60005 and a high of 60498 during the day’s trading. On the other hand, Nifty also saw a boom today. While the Nifty opened at 17680 in the morning, it also touched a low of 17671 and returned after touching a high of 17799. In the evening, the Nifty closed at 17711, up 117 points.

Tata Motors, NTPC, PowerGrid, Bajaj Finance, Infosys, Asian Paints, HDFC, Reliance etc. saw gains in BSE while Ultra Cement, ICICI Bank, Sun Pharma, IndusInd Bank, etc. remained losers. As far as Nifty is concerned, Adani Enterprises, Tata Motors, ONGC, NTPC, Powergrid were gainers while Britannia, Tata Steel, Jindal Steel, Hindalco, L&T were losers.
Let us tell you that amidst the rise in the global markets, the domestic stock markets opened strongly on Monday. During this, the Sensex crossed the level of 60,000, while the Nifty also had a strong rise. During this period, the BSE Sensex rose by 554.06 points or 0.91 percent to reach 60,363.03 points. The NSE Nifty was up 143.35 points, or 0.81 per cent, at 17,737.70. Based on 30 scrips, 28 scrips of the Sensex were trading with gains and the remaining two scrips were with minor losses. HCL Technologies, TCS and Reliance were among the major gainers. Most Asian markets, including Hong Kong and Japan, were in profit on Monday.
