The stock market has crossed 63,000 on the third trading day of the week, i.e. Wednesday (November 30). Sensex also reached new all time high of 63303.01 during the trading. A day before this, the Sensex had made an all-time high of 62,887.40 on Tuesday itself.
Today the Sensex closed at 63,099.65, up 417.81 or 0.67%. Along with this, the Sensex also made its new closing high. 23 out of 30 Sensex stocks saw gains. At the same time, there was a decline in only 7 stocks. M&M rose the most by 4%.
Nifty also made new all time high
Nifty also made new all time high and closing high. After 3 o’clock there was a sudden jump in the market. The Nifty reached a level of 18,816.05 during trading. A day before this, the Nifty had made an all-time high of 18,678.10.
Today it closed at 18,758.35, up 140.30 points or 0.75%. This is also the new closing high of Nifty. In today’s trade, out of 50 Nifty stocks, 49 closed in the green and 1 closed unchanged. M&M, Hindalco and Grasim gained.
Metal sector climbed the most
Out of 11 sectoral indices of NSE, 10 saw gains. The metal sector gained the most by 1.81%. The auto sector gained 1.72%. Realty Bank, Financial Services, IT, Media, Pharma and Private Bank sectors also saw a boom. PSU Bank declined by 1.35%.
