The first Test is being played between Sri Lanka and New Zealand in Christchurch. By the end of the third day’s play on Saturday, Sri Lanka have scored 83 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in the second innings. Whereas New Zealand made a comeback and scored 373 runs in the first innings. Earlier on the third day, New Zealand lost 5 wickets by adding 211 runs while playing ahead of 165 runs for 5 wickets in their first innings and scored 373 runs in the first innings. Daryl Mitchell played a century innings of 102 runs for New Zealand.
By the end of the third day’s play, Sri Lanka had taken a lead of 65 runs. Angelo Mathews 20 and Prabhat Jayasuriya are unbeaten on 2 runs. Blair Tickner took all three wickets of Sri Lanka.
