Kapil Sibal told the Supreme Court that the Supreme Court has given him permission to go abroad earlier. He is a Member of Parliament and is out on bail. Two cases are pending against him. Why put a condition of depositing ten crore rupees on a Member of Parliament? It should not happen . They are not going anywhere. They have to take a loan of ten crore rupees, which causes a loss of five lakh rupees every month. Such a condition is never imposed in the history of the court. There is no possibility of tampering with the evidence in the case. Earlier, the Supreme Court had not imposed any condition for going abroad.

On behalf of the Center, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta said that in the eyes of law, there is no MP but an accused. On behalf of the ED, the court said that the condition of depositing ten crore rupees in the registry of the Supreme Court has already been imposed on Karti.
