In the case of Sudarshan TV, the show focused on the conspiracy to infiltrate Muslims in the UPSC will be heard on Friday. In a hearing on Thursday in the Supreme Court in the Sudarshan News and UPSC Jihad case, Justice KM Joffe said that we are looking forward to watching the first 4 episodes of the program. Justice Joseph asked Sudarshan TV's lawyer whether your client is a cable TV operator or broadcaster? Rule 6 applies to cable TV network operators. The counsel for the Press Council in the case said that the electronic media stands on a different footing because they use the air wave. Counsel for the National Broadcasting Association (NBA) said that whether the hearing is on the big issue tomorrow or on the issue of ban on the show on Sudarshan News. The petitioner's counsel Anoop G Chaudhary said that he wanted to press for contempt against Sudarshan News editor Suresh Chavanke for an "outrageous" tweet against this court, to which Justice Chandrachud said that if he said anything silly, We will ignore that. Advocate Anoop George Chaudhary, appearing for the petitioner, said that Sudarshan News has filed an affidavit with vague allegations and said that he wants to file an affidavit again. On this, Shyam Dewan on behalf of Sudarshan TV said that it was difficult to file a detailed affidavit in two days. We (lawyers) are in all different places. Along with this, he requested that the matter be heard on Friday. To this, the petitioner said that we want to file a counter affidavit because a lot of irrelevant things have been mentioned in the affidavit. Accusations have been made against us. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, appearing for the Central Government, also said that a hearing could be held tomorrow. on this

Justice DY Chandrachud said that we will hear it tomorrow morning and will request the CJI to constitute the bench tomorrow so that we can end the hearing of the case tomorrow. With this, the hearing was deferred till tomorrow. The bench directed the registry to obtain an administrative order from the Chief Justice of India to set up a bench for hearing the case yesterday. The case will be heard at 12 noon.
