India A bowled out Bangladesh A for 112 runs in the first innings on the first day of the first unofficial Test on the basis of accurate bowling by the youngsters. Till the time of writing the news, India A have scored 84 runs without any loss. Yashasvi Jaiswal and Abhimanyu Easwaran are unbeaten.
On Tuesday, India A captain Abhimanyu Easwaran won the toss and decided to bowl first. His decision was also correct and Navdeep Saini gave Bangladesh the first blow on the team score of one run. After that the wickets of the hosts kept falling at regular intervals.
Pacers took 6 wickets, 4 spinners
6 wickets in the first innings were named after the fast bowlers. While 4 wickets came in the spinner’s share. For India A, left-arm spinner Saurabh Kumar was the top pick with four wickets. Apart from them, fast bowler Navdeep Sain took three wickets, Mukesh Kumar took two wickets and Atit Sheth took one wicket.
Mosaddek’s half-century, 8 batsmen did not reach double
Mosaddek Hossain (63) scored the most runs for Bangladesh A. He played an innings of 88 balls studded with 6 fours and 3 sixes. Apart from Mosaddek, only Nujumul Hasan Shanto (19) and Taijul Islam (12) could cross the double figure. The remaining eight batsmen could not cross the 10 mark.
Senior team will also tour Bangladesh
After India-A, the senior team is also going to tour Bangladesh next month. He has to play 3 ODIs and 2 Tests there. The first ODI will be played at Mirpur on 4th December.
