Coarse grain is beneficial for the stomach along with keeping the body warm
Include maize, jowar, bajra and ragi in the diet from the beginning of winter. Eating different types of dishes prepared from them is a better option. For example, porridge, roti or dosa. The dish prepared from them helps in controlling weight and keeping the body warm. Provided that ghee is not used much in these.
Mix vegetable soup increases the ability to fight diseases
Experts say that many types of vegetables are easily available in this season. You can drink them by making soup. Soups make up for the lack of water and nutrients in the body. You can use some black pepper powder in these. The antioxidants present in mixed vegetable soup also increase the ability to fight diseases.
Green leafy vegetables prevent phlegm
Green vegetables like fenugreek, spinach, mustard, bathua are available in this season. They are rich in nutrients like vitamins A, E, K, folic acid, iron, potassium and calcium.
