The trailer of the film Ae Zindagi will touch the heart. Satyajit Dubey has given a great performance in the film based on the true story. Revathi, a well-known face of South films, is now making a comeback on the big screen after 6 years with this film. The trailer of the film has been released recently. ‘Platoon One Films’, the boutique film studio is back with yet another exciting new film, ‘Ae Zindagi’, her first solo film to release in theaters in India and North America.
Based on a true story, the film ‘Ae Zindagi’ is the story of life’s struggles and tribulations of a 26-year-old liver cirrhosis patient Vinay Chawla, who ends up having an unlikely bond with Revathi, a grieving consultant in the hospital. It rekindles her hope and faith in life and makes her believe in the power of humanity.
The film stars Satyajit Dubey (breakout star from Mumbai Diaries), Mrunmayee Godbole (the much-loved Marathi film Chee Va Chi Sau Ka), Hemant Kher (veteran Gujarati actor who earned good reviews for his pivotal role in Scam 1992). There are also artists like Shrikant Verma, Sawan Tank, Muskan Aggarwal and Pranjal Trivedi.
The film is written and directed by Dr. Anirban Bose, who is also known for his novels ‘Bombay Rains, Bombay Girls’, ‘Mice in Men’ and ‘The Death of Mithali Datto’. On this remarkable journey from becoming a doctor to becoming a writer-director, Anirban shares, “Ae Zindagi is the story of my personal experiences, which I usually do and watch.
I am a doctor, so I take care of patients and I teach medical students. I am incredibly excited and nervous, and I hope people see the beauty of this story that inspired me to dedicate two years of my life to this project.” Ae Zindagi will be released in cinemas in India and North America on October 14.
