India’s star all-rounder skipper Hardik Pandya hinted at not coming back to red ball cricket after India’s series win against New Zealand on Wednesday. In the press conference after the series, he said that right now I am focusing on my white ball cricket. I’ll be back soon when I feel right.
Test was last played in 2018
Hardik Pandya last played Test in 2018. After this he has played only white ball cricket. Pandya said that – Right now I want to focus on white ball cricket. At present my health is fine. I will try to return soon.
Pandya took four wickets in the last match
In the third T20, Pandya destroyed New Zealand’s batting by taking four important wickets. The Indian skipper took four wickets and conceded only 16 runs as New Zealand were bundled out for 66 runs in 12.1 overs.
India will play 4 Tests from Australia
Team India has to play a 4 test series against Australia. After the first Test in Nagpur on 9 February, there will be a second Test in Delhi from 17 February. The third Test will be played in Dharamshala from March 1 and the fourth Test in Ahmedabad from March 9.
