On Wednesday, while the former Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh was climbing the stairs of the NIA office, a report given to the Home Department of Mumbai Police went viral at the same time. According to the report, Sachin Waje was appointed to the Armed Force of the Mumbai Police on 8 June 2020. It is further written in the letter that Vaje did not report to his top officers in the Crime Branch directly to the Mumbai Police Commissioner and whom to arrest? Who had to make a witness and where to raid, used to take all the briefing from him. On Wednesday, the statements of ACP Sanjay Patil and DCP Raju Bhujbal to Joint CP Milind Bharambe were also made public, in which both of them denied the order of recovery from the bar and pub on behalf of Home Minister Anil Deshmukh. Significantly, in a letter written to Parambir Singh Chief Minister, ACP Sanjay Patil had added his mobile chat as evidence.
At the same time, another letter explosion took place in the afternoon. In a 3-page letter written in the handwriting of Sachin Waje, Anil Deshmukh, along with Anil Deshmukh, has also accused Army Minister Anil Parab of demanding Rs 50 crore for settlement of a case. However, Waje did not deliver the letter in the NIA court. Minister Anil Parab gave clarification on the letter of Sachin Waje. Parab said, I am ready to go before any inquiry. I have been falsely accused.
Here, the NIA also questioned former encounter specialist Pradeep Sharma on Wednesday. In the Antilia case, on one side, the court has extended the NIA remand of conspiracy accused Sachin Waje till April 9, while the former police constables Vinayak Shinde and Bookie Naresh Gaur arrested for the murder of Mansukh Hiren have been sent to jail custody.
