Surat Police in Gujarat arrested four people for selling Reliance Jio’s trademark wheat flour. According to the police, these four accused were misusing the trade mark of Reliance Jio. The case has been registered in the Sachin police station under the Trade Marks Act 1999. Giving information in this case, Inspector N Jani of Sachin police station said that the accused used illegal trade mark to sell wheat flour.

Police said that a complaint was lodged at the police station on behalf of Reliance Jio that Bharat Gajera firm Radhakrishna Trading Company sells the market using the logo of Jio on a wheat flour bag, while Reliance Industries’ Jio or any other company is selling any Also, agriculture is not part of the kind of produce. According to the complaint lodged with the police, Reliance Jio came to know from a national channel that the wheat flour is being sold in the market by Radhakrishna Trading Company using its name and logo incorrectly. After which Reliance Jio approached the Sachin police station in Surat.
