Narayanasamy and MLAs of the ruling Congress-DMK alliance submitted their resignations to Deputy Governor Tamilisai Sundararajan after the government’s defeat in the trust vote on Monday. Earlier, Chief Minister Narayanasamy and other ruling party MLAs walked out of the House before voting on a motion of confidence in the Assembly.
