Price of potato fixed at Rs 20 per kg
Five investigation teams raided major potato sales centers in Bhanpuri, Dumratrai, Gudiyari, Golbazar, Santoshinagar and Shastri Bazar. Potato wholesalers have fixed the price of 50 kg of potatoes at Rs 600. Its list has also been put. The administration said that potatoes should not be sold more than Rs 20 per kg in the open, otherwise action will be taken.

Permission to 10 people in marriage, funeral and dashagatra
Raipur Collector has changed the terms of the lockdown. Now, more than 10 people will not be given permission in marriage, funeral and dashagatra. Earlier 50 people were allowed to participate in such events. The wedding has been asked to be done in the house of the bride and groom. That is, it cannot be organized in marriage hall or hotel-Dharamshala.

Closed in Rajnandgaon, Bemetra and Balod since yesterday
Lockdown has been going on since 6 April in Durg district due to heavy infection of Corona in Chhattisgarh. The lockdown will begin in Raipur from this evening. At the same time, lockdown is to be imposed in Rajnandgaon, Bemetara and Balod districts from Saturday evening. This lockdown will last till 6 am on 19 April.

The state of infection in the state is serious. For the last two days, more than 10 thousand patients are being received. On Thursday, 10,652 new patients were found. With these, the number of active patients has increased to 68,125 across the state. Maximum 2,330 patients were found in Raipur. The number of patients received in a day also reached 2,132 in Durg district. Rajnandgaon is the third most infected district here. On Thursday, 1,047 new patients were found.

Record 72 patients died in 2 days
Including Wednesday-Thursday, 72 patients died during treatment or before reaching the hospital. Among those who died, 37 people had no serious illness other than corona. Everyone was undergoing treatment due to symptoms like lung infection, shortness of breath. Raipur district alone had the highest number of deaths among 34 people. 19 people have died in Durg district.
