Delhi Police has arrested 3 accused.

Special Cell of Delhi Police has arrested 3 accused in the murder of Youth Congress President Murder and District Council member Gurlal Singh Bhullar (Faridkot) . On February 18, Gurlal Singh was killed when he was leaving his friend’s shop at Jubilee Chowk in Faridkot and was sitting in his car. Just then, two unknown miscreants riding on the bike shot around 18 bullets at Gurlal. After this murder, the accused absconded along with their accomplices.

Seeing the sensational murder, Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh tweeted that he has asked the Punjab DGP to investigate the matter quickly and catch the accused quickly. No culprit will be left. The team of Delhi Police Special Cell came to know that Lawrence Vishnoi gang is behind the murder. Lawrence Vishnoi is currently lodged in Ajmer Jail. The police arrested Gurwinder Pal and Saurabh Sharma from Sarai Kale Khan on 22 February after an information. All three are residents of Faridkot. Two pistol 8 cartridges were recovered from them.
The interrogation of the accused revealed that the entire conspiracy behind the murder was hatched by Goldie Brar, sitting in Canada, who is originally from Faridkot. Goldie is a partner of Lawrence Vishnoi, who runs an extortion gang in Canada and targets big businessmen in Punjab. In October 2020, Gurlal Brar, president of Punjab University student organization, was assassinated. The Bambia gang was named in this massacre in Chandigarh, while Lawrence Vishnoi was supported by Gurlal Barar. Gurlal Brar was a cousin of Goldie Brar. Goldie Brar and Lawrence first killed Ranjit Singh. After that his target was Gurlal Singh Bhalwan, who was associated with the Bhabia gang.
According to the plan, the accused started Gurlal Bhalwan’s Reiki in Chandigarh. Gurlal wrote on his Facebook that on February 9, he will be involved in the farmer movement on the Singhu border. The accused pursued Gurlal at the Singhu border but they could not succeed in their cause due to the large crowd. After this Gurlal came to Jantar Mantar to join the Congress protests. The accused wanted to kill him there too but could not succeed due to security arrangements. The shooter then returned. Then on February 18, according to the plan, Gurlal was killed in Faridkot. Some accused are on the lookout in this case.
