Punjab Election 2022: Congress Released The Second List Of Candidates

Punjab Congress Candidate List. In view of the upcoming assembly elections in Punjab, Congress has released its second list of candidates. Actually, in the second list, the tickets of a total of 23 candidates have been announced. Earlier on January 15, the party had released a list of 86 candidates. In which the seats of current Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi and State President Navjot Singh Sidhu were also announced. With this, the party has so far announced a total of 109 candidates for the 117-member Punjab Assembly. At present, candidates have not been announced for eight seats, including the Patiala (Urban) seat, which is said to be the stronghold of Captain Amarinder Singh.

In the second list released by Congress, party president Navjot Singh Sidhu’s nephew Smit Singh has been given ticket from Amargarh. While Karan Kaur Brar, daughter-in-law of former Punjab CM Harcharan Singh Brar, will contest from Muktsar, former minister Ashwani Sekhri has been re-nominated from Batala seat and former MLA Harchand Kaur has been fielded from Mahal Kalan (reserved) seat. Is. Along with this, Ashu Bangar, who left the Aam Aadmi Party and joined Congress, has been given ticket from Ferozepur Rural seat. Raja Gill has been made a candidate by cutting the ticket of Amrik Singh Dhillon from Samrala.
