Punjab, which was included in the states affected by the second wave of Corona, has now imposed new restrictions in the entire state in view of Corona, under which the night curfew has been announced in the entire state. Earlier in the state, only 12 districts had night curfew from 9 am to 5 am. Political, social, cultural and sports related programs have also been banned in the state. Apart from this, the numbers have to be reduced due to the presence of people in funeral programs and weddings.
Now only 50 people can participate in the programs held at home and only 100 people can participate in the programs held outside. Under the new restrictions, it has been made mandatory to keep employees in masks in government offices.
In a notice letter issued by the office of Chief Minister Amarinder Singh, it has been said that these new restrictions are being imposed keeping the earlier restrictions in force. Schools and educational institutions have been closed till April 30 as per the earlier restrictions. Now theaters will also be booking up to 50 percent capacity. Only 10 people will be allowed to enter a store in malls at a time.
