Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann reached Ahmedabad in Gujarat on Wednesday with 25 thousand electricity bill and held a press conference. In the conference, he claimed that the amount of 61 lakh electricity bill of Panja has come to zero. That means 61 lakh families have got free electricity. In this way, AAP can fulfill the promise of providing free electricity in Gujarat as well.
AAP has announced to provide free electricity up to 300 units.
Let us tell you that in the Gujarat elections, the Aam Aadmi Party has promised to give up to 300 units of free electricity every month in its election manifesto. On the statement of free, BJP has this to say that how will they give free. In response to this, the Punjab CM himself reached Ahmedabad with proof of electricity bills.

Told journalists – you can also check the bill
The Punjab CM said in the press conference that out of 75 lakh houses in Punjab, people living in 61 lakh houses have got zero power supply. This is a proof of the commitment of the Aam Aadmi Party. She does what she says. He told reporters, I have brought 25 thousand zero amount electricity with name and address, which you can also check. Till date, about 75 lakh electricity meters have been installed in Punjab. In this, the people living in 61 lakh houses have got zero electricity bill i.e. free electricity.
This number will be 67 lakhs next month
He claimed that the number of such bills in December would go up to 67 lakh due to lower consumption in winter. At the same time, it will increase to 71 lakhs in January. We do what we say and we say what we can do. The same can happen in Gujarat too. We have promised and will deliver.
Voting will be held on 1 and 5 December
The first phase of voting in Gujarat will be held on December 1, while the second phase will be held on December 5. At the same time, the counting of votes for both the phases will take place on December 8. The gazette notification for the first phase voting process was issued on November 5 and for the second phase voting process on November 10. The scrutiny will take place on November 15 for the first phase, while the date for the second phase is November 18. The last date for withdrawal of nominations has been set for November 17 for the first phase and November 21 for the second phase.
BJP in power in Gujarat for 24 years
For the last 24 years, the Bharatiya Janata Party is in power in Gujarat. Congress has been the main opposition party of BJP here in every election, but this time Aam Aadmi Party has also entered. There are also possibilities of changing the equation with this. After winning the Punjab elections, the Aam Aadmi Party has put full force in Gujarat as well. In such a situation, the contest can be triangular.
