Many people and political party leaders have come in support of Navdeep Kaur, a labor rights activist in Karnal Jail, Haryana. On Tuesday, the leader of the Aam Aadmi Party had arrived in Karnal to meet Kaur, which included MLA Harpal Cheema, MLA Saravjit Kaur and Anmol Gagan Mann, but was not allowed to meet Kaur. He was arrested along with others by the Haryana Police on January 12 for allegedly sieging an industrial unit in Sonipat district and demanding money from the company. Kaur has been granted bail in one case, but due to the second petition being dismissed, he is still in jail.
