Internal marks will play an important role in the results of 10th and 12th class students promoted without examination. Although the state government has not made any policy for marking public so far, but the Board of Secondary Education, Ajmer has asked for internal marks of students from all government and private schools in the state. In such a situation, whatever the marking policy will be, internal marks are sure to be important.

The Deputy Director (Confidential) of the Board of Secondary Education Ajmer has sent a letter to all the District Education Officers on Thursday itself. It has been said in the letter that in view of the second wave of Kovid, the board examinations have been canceled. The result of these students is to be decided by the board. The board has instructed all the school operators to prepare the internal marks of 10th and 12th students by June 21. Between June 21 and June 28, all schools will give internal marks on the basis of the activities of the session 2020-21 against the roll numbers of these students. If any school does not send the internal marks then the responsibility of the result will be of that school.

on what basis
The Board of Secondary Education Ajmer has asked for internal marks, but on what basis they will give it, it has not been clarified. Actually, usually the internal marks are sent to the school on the basis of the test. There was no test this time. Even when the schools started offline, the Directorate of Secondary Education had ordered not to take the test.

Most get full marks
Generally, 100 percent marks are given to the students from the school as internal marks. Each subject has 20 marks. In both government and private schools, children are given numbers with an open hand so that the weak students can pass and the promising students are not left behind due to internal marks.

Policy not yet decided
Actually, the internal marks could be a part of the process which the government has not made public till now. It is not yet clear what kind of marks are being added with the internal marks.
